History of wTw
Alot of people like to know how wTw came to be! We have been though alot but it has only made this fed stronger and made it what we are today.
August 98-Tim S., Jeff, and Matt start screwing around on the trampoline. Just pulling off punches, closhline, kicks, german suplexes, and LOTS of legdrops.
November 98-Tim S. and Matt go to a SUCKY WCW Saturday Night Show. Matt said World Trampoline Wrestling(wTw) making fun of WCW. Who would have thought that Matt's stupidity would have started something so big...
December 98-Jeff, Tim S., and Matt hang out in the basement. Tim's dad has a football mat that he used with his pee wee football teams. We begin to wrestle on the mat and make belts. Soon we tape themselves but sadly this tape was lost. But before this tape was lost Tim B. came over and saw the tape. He liked what he saw so we let him in. wTw now has 4 members.
January 99-A new year, a new wTw. The 4 start working on costumes and more characters. They figure "what the hell, why not wrestle in the basement untill spring(cause of snow)and call the events Down In Your Basements" We now have ring entrances and commentary. wTw DIYB 1 goes off with a bang. Such a bang that we decide that to wrestle again. In that same month we do the next event, wTw DIYB 2. This time we are "extreme" and use pepsi bottles, kitty litter bags, pizza boxes, refrigerator boxes, any kind of boxes, and calanders.(hahaha)
February 99-We slack off BAD. No event or anything.
March 99- Snow is gone trampoline comes out. Thats right kids good ol' trampoline. We now have ALOT of belts and characters. Belts include Heavyweight, Extreme, King of the Couch, Eurasian, American, Antarctic, Tag Team, Panzyweight, and Down Under.We do a LONG UNORGANIZED event called King of the Couch. It really had nothing to do with King of the Couch but thats OK. We try to add too much humor and were not serious at all about wrestling. WE SLAP OUR SELVES IN THE ASS EVERYDAY OVER THIS EVENT. Yes is was fun but it wasen't what backyard wrestling is today.
April 99- We slack off a little Jeff and Matt go to Florida, Tim S. works and Tim B. does nothing. They wrestle periodically and throw together an event called Too Damn Extreme. We would start matches but were not up to our standards and would start over. It really wasn't that extreme either. Also we did a weekly show called Friday Night Nightmare. That didn't last long at all. The Tims made a temporary ring that was small and only had 3 sets of ropes and was torn down to make way for a pool. Also in this month we get a NEW member, Bryan. Probly the best high flyer we got ! He has a great ammuture wrestling background that helps too!
May 99-Jeff and Tim S. rape wTw. They are fed up with the way things are going and decide to kill off about 20 characters. It had made some members angry but they got over it. We really did nothing cause of school sports. Once again no event. This is where Tim S, sat on the internet and found a shit load more of backyard feds. And we thought WE were the only people do this. This inspired us to go hardcore a bit. Tim S also got a fed video called Backyard Brawl that really helped us on doing crazy shit they did. Thanks BYB!
June 99-Once again Tim S. and Jeff rape wTw. This time they kill off more characters and are so called hardcore fed goes REAL hardcore. Along with this decision they change the name to Wicked Extreme Wrestling. After 2 days Jeff gets smart on us. He thinks "there are a lot of feds that use extreme or hardcore in there name and most of them aren't. We want to stick out. Also we should keep wTw as our initials". He comes up with Wicked Treacherous Wrestling. Its' all good. Also We drop a lot of belts. We now only have Heavyweight, Extreme, Tag Team, American, and Panzyweight. Jeff and Tim S. discuss having thumbtack and glass matches. It all happens in our breakthrough event with the perfect name wTw Aftermath.
July 99-We do wTw Burnt Out. We do more glass and thumbtacks and that sorta stuff. Also we discover Florescent lightbulbs. This is a good event but that was about all we did this month. Jeff's all star baseball team went to a New England championship tourny and that took up a good portion of the month so we couldn't wrestle much. You wonder why? well we had maybe 4 faithful members at the time. Matt, Tim B, Jeff, anf Tim S. Bryan showed up once in a while but wasen't all in to the wrestling like we were.
August 99- WE RULE! This is the best month in wTw. A lot happened. We talk to another great fed (HIW) about a production deal. We called and he seemed to really be in to backyard feds. We did an event called wTw Deadly Playground which is kind of our Wrestlemania. We finally get barb wire and use it ALOT.We got about 500 yards so why not put it to good use. :)We basically put everything we had into this event knowing that this could get us the production deal(we were sending this to the company). We use everything and anything we can get our hands on including tacks, barbwire bats, signs, glass, tables. lightbulbs, and lunchboxes. They like us and want to sign us for a 3 year contract.
September 99- School starts and we slack off again, We only do a couple of matches but the ones we did were good. We started a King of the Deathmatch Tournament and after the first two matches we canned it. Those matches were great though. We had our first sort of major injury that month, Jeff brused three ribs after being chokeslmmed on a bucket. We lose a long time member of wTw this month, Matt left wTw. I think this "production deal" was getting to our head and making us go insane with EVERY match with barbwire, glass, and everything... Matt made us relize we were dumb. We tried to take this way to seriously, and we faught alot! We talked to a couple of people about joining and we have a new member coming in the next few months or so.
Inbetween - We take ALOT of time off. We were kind of falling apart and it wasen't good. We were beating our selfs up bad for this production company and STILL no signed.. are we getting blown off or what? Well We do a few matches. A Panzyman match(half of an iron man match) and a cool mud match (sounds gay but it was in my garden!). And we say fuck it lets go and have fun!
October 99- We are planning on doing a big event, Almost Suicide, on Halloween weekend. We still have'nt been signed by the production company. They want more footage before they sign the contracts. That makes all a little mad. Dosen't it make you mad? I call Dead Alive and pretty serious about shit and he said he will get back to me. which leads to next part ...... \/
October 20, 1999-Wicked Treacherous Wrestling is OFFICIALLY signed with DeadAlive Productions. We need to send them 8 videos with 4 hours of raw footage in 3 years. This should be fun kids so tell your friends to come along for the ride by following wTw. Who would have thought we would have got this far..
October 30, 1999- We have Almost Suicide and drew in our biggest crowd EVER in wTw! We also added a new member! Adam!! He is the Amazing Lenzbian and a great newbie to the backyard wrestling world! OH man this was probably the best event we have ever had and it was a HUGE turn out. Everyone gave it their all and had the time of our lives. This is the month of the famous dead squirrel incodent!! YAY.
November 99- We have a good event Cataclysm where Tim, Tim B, Jeff, and Bryan put on some of the best matchs we have ever seen in wTw. Guess what? Another awesome member! Mike, hes from a local band called Nothing and great friends with Jeff. Hes a crazy kid and has already wrestled a few matchs! ALSO Matt R. is back in wTw! We are all very very happy that this kid/co founder of wTw is back!! He wrestles as Mamy Slave and Lond Daddy Smooth, and does like 90% of our camera work and will continue to as long as we can!!
December 99 - We do X-Mas chaos but it was sooooo fucken cold out it wasent even funny. It was a decent card. We only had like 5 people wrestle because everyone else had sports but we said fuck it we need to wrestle.. And then here comes to snow!!!!!!! DAMN
January 00 - We did some fook around but alot of people are in winter sports so we can't do a hell of alot still. But we are hoping to do an event soon.
February 00 - There is some dispute about shit that happend back in November about parents and shit and members almost pack bags and leave but we get this shit all settled, this took place over a few months but i thougt i put it here for the hell of it! Everything is good and we put on a card, YAHOOOOOOOO!!! This one is called Brutal Act 2000, and was a great show for a snow card. this took place in 2 days cause it was cold as hell. We get a new member Cody. Big ass kid but he will kill ya!! Glad to have him in wTw. This is great we have alot of people in wTw and dont have to wreslte like 3 matchs a card to make it complete! Anyways onward!
March 00 - This month was a good month, snow went away and We hold the biggest crowd ever in wTw. over 30! PLUS we were joined by gURL.com / iturf.com out of New York to come and take some footage, we should be on there soon. This was a creative name for a card........ NO NAME 2000!!! haha.We have some brutal matchs one that standed out was Hostile and Pimp, man they stole the show BAD! Props out to them man!
April 00 - Nothing at all.. No wrestling at all. Tim S dislocates knee on trampolien fuckn around so he out but everyone plans on wrestling soon again!!
Summer of 00 - We didn't do alot of matchs but the 2 cards we did have, Will to Die and f00k fest, were definitly the most known we have had. They were both incredible sick cards with 3 matchs on each. SO MANY LIGHTTUBES!!! like 27 in one match. Sadly this was Pimps last match, well this is the last time you see him. Maybe we can get him to come back in the future.
October 00 - New member in wTw, Brendan Shea. We even build a really nice ring in his backyard. it killed our other one! Pleanty of f00k arounds. And definitly some matchs we won't forget between brendan and hostile!
January 01 - Seems like we are starting to die out. Hardly any matchs, just f00k arounds here and there. We try and have Blood Drive but was cut short due to snow and lighting, so sadly Blood Drive was never finished. Brendan is able to get his first title in wTw.
January to April 01 - Only like 4 of us in wTw right now keeping it alive. Very hard to get ahold of people. But in this time we have had a good amount of f00k arounds, enough to keep people happy. AND also we are glad to have Jeff back after like a 6 month break from wrestling. He had his first match back against Long Daddy Smooth to win!
